Geek squad chat11/27/2022 ![]() I would like to note, I am a professional medical practitioner and this is a business computer. Basically, he did nothing but mislead me. I got the runaround by a tech who did not want to do his job. There are no guarantees this will solve the problem. I now am waiting 2 more weeks until July 13th for a technician to come to my home and install this new program. The technician should have performed his job and done this for me. When I went (at an extreme inconvenience) to the nearest Best Buy store to purchase said package I was told this was unnecessary as it could be purchased online, downloaded and installed. He claimed I could not purchase online and he could not download and install it for me. In an attempt to fix an Edge/ Microsoft email problem, the technician explained he could not help, that I needed to go to the Best Buy store to purchase the Microsoft 365 package, that the pre-installed version was faulty. On June 24th a visit to my home by a scheduled technician produced more complicated problems than it solved. I have never been so frustrated with ac store in all my life I was even promised a gift card which I never seen. I been on the phone for over 6 hours and disconnected hung up on and lied to transferred to different department with no resolution I also spent over 3 hours at the Best buy store trying to deal with this matter. I have never bee so mis treated and lied to in all my life with a purchase of a product. On August 8 I had to submit another claim and pay another deposit of 840. I went to 2 stores to try and solve the problem. after all that hassle I received my phone on August 3 The phone I received was defective. then you sent it back using UPS who I had nothing but problems with.in the past with another purchased I was lied to and mislead by them. Your courier UPS did not follow the correct instructions and sent the phone you were sending me back to the to Bestbuy/geeksquad depot. As I did have extended warranty I did so and gave a 840 deposit. The store associate was rude and not to helpful with me filling my claim and rudely said i have to do it on line. This is regarding Incident Number assigned on July 17 I had a phone that was not working which I purchased from Best buy Deerfoot Meadows Calgary in November 2021. ![]()
